Captn Greggs did have great reviews on the Internet so we were really looking forward to our stay. When we arrived we were told though that they don't have our booked room with balcony available and they were everything but friendly. We took another room to the back as it was Christmas and we rather wanted to a not so nice room than no room at all. We didn't get any compensation or a sorry. We stayed for 7 nights all in all during which the room was only cleaned two times after we directly had to talk to the cleaning lady. There was a safe in the room which was good, otherwise the cleaning lady likes to go through bags and look for things... didn't take anything but after cleaning some of our stuff wasn't were we left it. The bar and restaurant provide good food and drinks but you will never see anyone smile or being friendly to you. We changed or breakfast location after two days because we found a nicer much more friendly aand also cheaper place. In the nights our room was directly next to a nightclub so until 3-4am you will either heat club music, live bands etc as loud as if you were there.. pretty annoying. All in all it was well located at Sabang beach but not worth the price for what you get. Also don't go diving with them, they are much more expensive than others, even though we were hotel guests we wouldn't get a special price but pay about 500pesos more than at different diving schools. Mindoro Island was great, Captn Greggs unfortunately not..

Had gone last weekend with my wife and had an excellent time at Capt'n Gregg's. The food is awesome and is the owner Chuck and Karren.The scuba instructor Mads was also very patient as I was doing my first dive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again if I decide to go to Sabang .

This is one of the cheapest places to stay in Sabang. The room is clean and comfortable and in a good location.

It was a very nice place with a friendly staff. I would most definitely stay there again if I head down that way.
