Beginning of the hot season so hotel deals easy to find. I love that this hotel is Thai owned! I like the Marrakkesh (I also had 4 days at the Wora Bura) as it is 20 minute walk to Tamarind Market, 8 minute walk to Bluport shopping and 20 minutes to Market Village. The sea is a few steps at the end of the pool. The rooms; I booked a junior suite (least expensive room), it overlooks a barren piece of land which is now a construction site & I believe they start at 7am, The room is 60 metres. I was however upgraded to a pool view room (55metres) and it should be noted the pool view is for the pool (probably over 60metres long) for the residences which are privately owned (can be rented) but the hotel guests cannot use it. Bathrooms are gorgeous mosiacs but like another reviewer, i found that there iss no other furniture to put luggage aside from a small cabin bag. The only other issue I had is that the bathroom lighting means that you cannot use the mirrors & the ones in the bedroom have a film on them so you never have a decent mirror.
