Hotel Vittorio Emanuele

Disappointed that free train station pickup listed was actually not on offer - which was my reason for selecting this hotel. They ignored my email requesting pickup for me & my 4yr old. There weren't any taxis so had to walk. Communication lacking - they had received the email. Door to balcony wouldn't close so bit noisy. Room clean & good breakfast. Close to sites.

the bad: noisy location right up to early hours of morning. smelly rooms. air conditioner not very good. broken tv remote. broken fridge acsess door. faulty wondow lock. the good: hotel staff. breakfast. decor.

Very good Sassari Centro location, only about 600 metres from train station and 1.5kms from bus station, excellent Sardinian restaurant nearby. Very good included breakfast (for Italy) with hot and cold offerings. Art covering about every inch of wall space throughout hotel, nice exposed stone bricks in places

Great hotel to set your landing spot in Sardinia and explore the northern part of the island. Close to La Pelosa Beach. 30 mins by car, 70 mins by bus

It is a comfortable hotel in a perfect location if you want to experience the old-town center of the city. It is easy to walk to anywhere you want to go. Many restaurants, cafes, and entertainment activities are close by.

Convenient location but quiet. They have nice breakfast with enough variety. Place is very clean the price is reasonable

Great location, breakfast and staff

I liked the hotel an would certainly recommend it but not all is perfect. I had to change room because the first I have been given was facing the main road and was very noisy , I was woken up at 6 am in the morning and it was quite noisy the whole day.Not al the rooms are spacious and some can be very small and dark. Bathrooms have only( small) showers but no bathtub. But you have to keep in mind that you are in the old town, close to all the attractions, restaurants, bar,it is an old building you can't expect big spaces. The hotel is very clean, well kept and recently refurbished . Breakfast is better than normal italian standard( including scrambled eggs! ) and staff is very helpful. Internet works better everywhere and is very fast.

Brilliant hotel - comfortable bed! Nestled in the 'old city' but a 5 minute walk to the 'new' area, the bus and train stop. A great location. Wifi - very fast, breakfast was great. The hotel was spotless, and was very comfortable!
