Rustic, helpful and polite staff.

Being downtown, there are a lot of strangers that may approach you for one reason or another.

It’s a rough hotel in a rough neighbourhood. It was cheap and central so I stayed there but likely won’t again as I’d rather pay the extra money for a better hotel. Staff was nice but comforter was stained with cigarette burns, overall it was not very clean, very dated and beaten up decor, but kinda worth staying once to remind me that sometimes the cheapest option is not the best option.

Open at 8am on Saturday morning, a bit late

Not recommendable. The whole hotel just absolutely stincs of smoke. Even in the room which should be no smoking room smelt like a 1000 cigarets. Old outdated and far to expensive compared with other hotels in Yellowknife.
