Breakfast was very good.

It was excellent but nothing in this world is perfect. I felt sometimes my door was kept open . I hope there was something wrong in auto lock system,

Walking distance to Sarinah Shopping Centre. We had good experience at Swissbell Batam and Medan but not the one in Jakarta. The hotel was a trash!!

1. It's a 3-star hotel that meets third-world country standards. 2. The check-in experience was poor. 3. A security guard was present but did not open the door for us while we were carrying our luggage. 4. We encountered numerous baby cockroaches crawling in the room and bathroom during our stay. We chose not to inform the staff, as we were already upset with the service from the beginning. 5. The room had an international call service displayed. When we asked the reception about the cost of making an international call, one receptionist said they had never done that before, and another claimed not to know. They did not even attempt to find out for us. What kind of training do they have if they can't provide basic information? If you offer the service, why not know how it works? 6. No one answered the phone at the reception until we contacted the restaurant's line. 7. They do not provide a hand towel. 8. The room is not soundproof; you can hear loud shouts with no manners from local guests staying at the hotel. 9. The hotel is close to a mosque, so you will hear disturbing noise five times a day. 10. We spent most time outside to ignore the presence of baby cockroaches and just wanted to leave Jakarta.

The location was great.

The shower could have been cleaner.
