Doray Motel

This is a simple little motel where we stopped on our way during a long road trip. We weren’t looking for more than a clean bed and a bathroom. We were pleasantly greeted by the charming owners, who engaged us in a nice conversation. They were just so kind. We were also so happy to discover an EV destination charger on-site. There's a convenience store right next door so we grabbed some beer and hung out on the “patio” (really just two chairs in front of the door, but it was so nice and cozy). There were also friendly people in one of the other rooms, and between them and the owners it felt like we were saying goodbye to friends when we left.

What a lovely spot this was. Our room was clean and newly renovated and had all the basics like microwave small refrigerator towels soap etc. No daily room cleaning which we like but when we needed anything extra the owners were helpful. We tend to choose small family owned and operated spots. Downtown area was a ten min walk and lots of great restaurants walking distance. We look forward to coming back.

Owners are very friendly and knowlegable. Room was quaint and close to everything but far enough so you’re not in the center of hustle and bustle. Will stay at thos motel again.

The service was very good from the man but they didn’t have anything. No coffee, no breakfast, nothing. So next time, I prefer to pay a little bit more and have something. The bed was ok but not super. For me it’s not more than 8.

Very nice old school Adirondack motel. Just a 12 minute walk into the village to to the lake. Nothing fancy but we weren't there to hang out in our motel.

The owners are unbelievable nice. We got their the first day they we're starting to open for season. They we're so helpful and awesome. We stayed in cabin. Very nice and clean

This is an older Motel that has been nicely kept. No frills, but perfect for what we were looking for.

The proprietors are warm and friendly, the rooms are super clean ; the well-kept grounds feature a grill and picnic tables for your dining pleasure. Short drive, and within walking distance to the lake/ Fort William Henry recreation museum. All in all, a GREAT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!!
