At least It was clean and the staff was polite. The good feedback stops here though because at 20:30 in the evening the following happened to me, my mother and father (this trip was a present for him as he was kidney-transplanted 32 years ago in Nantes):

1. After 2 flights and 9-hours long marathon of traveling to Nantes, I was "pleasantly" surprised that our booking is not in the system. 2. 5 months in-advance I paid for a 2 Stars Hotel with elevator, balcony(if possible) and car parking. We've been told that their system was changed in the meantime, therefore our reservation is gone. 3. Multiple times until the actual date of the check-in I've contacted the property to arrange the parking for the rent-a-car which we took. I've been assured that a parking spot is reserved for our stay. 4. In the day of the check-in, before our first flight for the day, I've contacted them again in order to get the latest instructions for the parking. I've let them know that my stay starts today and I'd like to receive detailed instructions where to park the car. They've sent me almost immediate response that the parking spot is confirmed + instructions and "We look forward to welcoming you to Nantes and wish you a wonderful day." 5. The instructions were confusing as in the end it appeared that the machine that lowers the barrier has no keyboard and is actually a "phone" where you have to dictate the provided code. Not knowing that in advance I parked illegally nearby, risking receiving a fee and went by foot to check-in and take the parking access card when I've been surprised with the news. 6. The lady which was on shift at that moment was extremely helpful, helped for the car and did everything she can to assist us, but the situation was kind of "Give me a room or we have to sleep on the street". Unfortunately a room there was not available. 7. After the supervisor was contacted, we've been provided with a room, on the 3rd floor, with no elevator, no balcony and in a completely different 1 Star Hotel (Petite Duquesne) which seems to be part of their business too. My mom and dad (he has walking issues) were "charmed".

Gentilissimi alla reception, disponibile a darci tutte le informazioni necessarie, anche per visitare la città. Letto comodo, stanza con bagno puliti. Ottima colazione, con croissant favolosi. Posizione ottimale per visitare la città. Parcheggio a pagamento praticamente difronte all’albergo

Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en vers. Het hotel ligt op 10 minuten wandelen van het oude centrum en is ook erg goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. De badkamer is klein maar functioneel en dat is wat je gezien de prijs mag verwachten.
