I had a wonderful stay at Haka House Tekapo. The location is perfect, especially for exploring the area and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It’s right next to the dark sky area, making stargazing incredibly convenient. I also loved the beautiful sunset and sunrise views just outside the hostel. The common facilities were nice—clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It was especially helpful to have access to a drying room and a 24-hour washing machine.

For a hostel, it felt quite expensive, especially for a shared room and bathroom setup.
