Had a great stay staff brilliant

The room cold had too ask for plug in heater

The room wasn't clean and carpet was stained, plus it had very strong curry smell from restaurant so we declined to stay there and booked elsewhere

Great location. Friendly welcome

Rooms were small and very basic. Not the cleanest and decor and furniture a bit dated. Our room window rattled all night.

When we arrived our room wasn’t ready unfortunately after being told it would be so this was a bit disappointing as we were attending a wedding so had a quick turnaround. The next morning there were no staff around at all and we had no electricity in the room so could not shower as the showers were electric. Our friends were also staying in the same hotel and had the same situation. We saw no staff so could not get this rectified.

It was dusty, the beds were uncomfortable and we had no electricity.

No heating, was suppled with electric heater when asked about it. Bathroom not cleaned toilet dirty, bathroom covered in hair. Hall carpet dirty no hoovered

Personalet var søde

Faciliteterne var meget dårlige og der var ikke gjort særligt rent på værelset. Vi måtte ligge på tværs af sengen med puder under os for at kunne sove bare lidt. Vi lagde os kort på gulvet fordi sengen var så dårlig

It’s in the location that we wanted to explore. It’s a shame we didn’t know about the Waverley hotel before booking the crag.

The fact that the shower didn’t turn on, the dog treat on the floor, the hair in the bathroom that belonged to neither myself nor my girlfriend, the side lamp that flickered slightly before turning off all together, the sconce that was hanging away from the wall, the sink that wouldn’t hold water with the plug in, the fire alarm that went off but raised no alarm to the staff of the hotel who tried to disarm the alarm while people drank in the bar, ate in the restaurant and let myself and my girlfriend stand by the front door like a pair of lemmings. Eventually we went back up to the room because if the staff aren’t bothered by the fact there could be a fire in the building then it must be ok
