Silverdale Lodge

Made this hotel the base for a walking holiday. Needed somewhere that was cheap, where I could eat or have a drink and feel comfortable on my own (as a solo woman traveller), with safe parking and good road access. This fitted the bill completely. It is a motel, rather than a hotel, but that is fine. The room was spacious and the ensuite had a good shower. Staff were unfailing friendly and polite. Not a place for a romantic get-away, but perfect as a base for touring, walking, cycling, etc.

A fair stay for a 3 Star hotel. Central to lost of places.

This is a motel with basic facilities, and for us provided a base to visit the surrounding beaches and Tenby. It is on the main road which is a plus point, and Tesco is just a few miles down the road. The room had was clean and apparently had its walls painted recently.

This is an inn that has rooms out back like a motel in the US. The locals & staff were friendly & the food was good. This is a good place to stay the night after a long day of traveling.

We found the hotel to be very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and the food was excellent.

Liked not having stairs as all units were bungalows. Basic sleeping and bathroom. Restaurant was fair priced and tasty with the breakfast excellent. We returned for a second night.

Friendly welcome, smiling staff, and as arrived late had a very good meal, recommended for anyone that has to stop off around Haverfordwest.

Cheapish stay, just a couple of days for work. There was a huge spider's web in my room and tea cups were dirty which made me doubt the overall cleanliness. I didn't try the food (pub style), but had a reasonably ok Chinese takeaway from up the road. There is also a garage and a chip shop nearby. Nothing particularly wrong with the place, it kind of reminds me of a motel, with lots of bungalow style outhouses. It isn't all that welcoming and is very dark round the back of the lodges. They could do with a security light or something, in the car park to make it seem less. I was working in Milford Haven which was only 10 minutes away by car. If given the choice of returning there or trying my hand at another unknown hotel, I would probably choose to gamble.
