Latroupe Hotel Le Berger

The breakfast was good and varied, and the location was very convenient.

The room looked more like a room from a two-star hotel. The tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the mirror was darkened, cable hanging from the wall, broken sink, the plaster in the hallway had fallen off. The night before, right across from the hotel, they were working at the construction site until almost midnight. There was very loud noise, and the sound insulation of the windows was very weak. The photos on the booking site do not resemble at all what I found on site. I have attached a few photographs showing how the room looked, including the hallway.

The room was quite cozy. The location was central enought to walk to many places.

Outside the hotel, it can get a bit sketchy in the evening. Is quite central and the area is not the safest.

Rooms were well decorated. Decor great. Location excellent. Outdoor space lovely. Great breakfast.

Front of house staff not well organised. Not good at communicating- and not because of language barrier. Rooming allocation was a mess. Staff front of house came across as quite rude at times and uninterested in sorting out issues. Kind of treated you like a „colleague“ rather than a paying guest.

Il y a eu un mélange dans mes produits, je n’avais que du savon à main lorsque j’ai voulu prendre ma douche. L’établissement est situé dans une ruelle qui n’inspire par confiance, j’ai même croisé une personne qui fouillait dans un conteneur à 21:00 lorsque je suis rentré. Je ne serais pas rentré seul de nuit. Le tapis devant la douche, c’est moyen, il se mouille lors de la sortie de douche et ne sèche pas. La télé n’avait ni le câble, ni la possibilité de se connecter à des services de streaming…

The room was clean with good standards but very small for the price. Also, the other room has no TV, and in the room that has a TV, the TV was not working. You need to register and pay for a DStv account before being able to watch the TV.
