Boutique Hotel Villa Giulia

Lo mejor la ubicación, la amabilidad del personal y el desayuno estupendo con unas vistas espectaculares al lago. La camarera del desayuno era un encanto y la música de ambiente, la decoración y el mobiliario eran de lujo.

Es un poco incómodo porque no tiene ascensor al ser un antiguo palacete, pero el personal sube y baja las maletas. El restaurante es muy bueno y de calidad con un magnífico servicio, pero el camarero nos sugirió pedir una ensalada que no venía en la carta y luego nos cobraron 45 euros por esa ensalada, lo que me pareció un abuso, pero no quisimos protestar ante la amabilidad de los empleados.

Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und abgelegener. Die Trasse und Lage direkt am See ist sehr schön! Die Zimmer waren immer Sauber und Aufgeräumt und das Personal war freundlich!

Vom Frühstück habe ich mir mehr erhofft. Außerdem waren am ersten Tag unserers Aufendhalts die Toast's verschimmelt, was wie ich finde gar nicht geht. Der arme Mann vor mir, hat die Schimmel flecken nicht bemerkt und gegessen:/ Außerdem würde ich das Hotel nicht für jüngere Persohnen empfelen, da es nicht viel in der nähe zu bieten hat. Zum entspannen ist es jedoch gut. Alles in allem war unser Aufenthalt gut aber nicht den Preis wert.

Our dinner on the first night was excellent, sadly the second evening did not live up to expectations. The fish was overcooked and the vegetables were cold. It took 20 minutes to get a waiter’s attention, by which time my husband had finished his meal, so it was too late to change mine. The breakfast was fine. The hotel is in a quiet location with a stunning view.

Our junior suite was in a converted attic, only reachable by climbing up 75 stairs! The large bathroom had no towel rails and no hooks for bathrobes. When flushing the loo, one had to stand well clear as the water gushed over the pan. It was described as having a terrace and balcony. There was just one tiny terrace.

The service was amazing, all staff go above and beyond. It’s also well worth having dinner in the restaurant, the food, wine and service were impeccable. Plus the views are amazing!

You need to plan your days quite carefully if you don’t have a car, taxis are very expensive, we mainly walked and got the ferry when we ventured out but the ferries finish in the early evening.
