Hotel Gwarna

The location of the hotel is great, middle of the center, you pakr your car in the parking garage on 3rd floor, hotel entrance is at 4th floor(!). Reception is capable of talking English, but it requires a lot of effort and is not common. The rooms are large!! Simple, but large... ( did I mention they are big? ) However they are furnished simple and basic, a comfortable seat would for sure value the rooms better! The hotelbar/Lobby is not worth that title, it is part of the hallway. But at least the service from the hotelbar was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast: Basic, nothing special. Quality is average, quantity slightly below average. Some more fresh healthy food would be nice. Fitness: It is not within the hotel, it is in the shoppingmall.....

Well, those who embark on a journey to Legnica in Lower Silesia (Poland) can definitely expect a place full of ancient history. And it is not only the glorious churches and palaces that will attract visitors’ attention. The entire city seems to undergo a process of thourough restructuring and renovations. Contrary of expectations Hotel Gwarna gave us a very pleasant surprise. The modern hotel is baked in the city’s most popular downtown shopping center “Galeria Gwarna” and occupies the building’s two upper storeys. Driving guests find paid and safe parking facilities in an integrated garage and can enter the hotel using an elevator directly from the car park deck. Public areas and our guest room were immaculately clean, comfortable and spacious with simply everything you might need to relax and work away from home. This accomodation was furnished in style and provided blissful sleep in excellent beds. We also enjoyed a nice view onto the city and the neighboring mountains from the adjoining balcony. Fast WiFi connected with the internet at no extra charge. A bountiful, delicious and extensive buffet breakfast was served in the restaurant that has an outdoor Panorama section. Apart from breakfast their friendly waitresses served some exclusive dishes for the most sophisticated gourmets during lunch or in the course of an unforgettable candelight dinner. Upon check-in our immediate impression was that everyone was happy to see us! The location is ideal for walking, sight-seeing, shopping or people watching. One of Hotel Gwarna’s highlights is definitely their Spa & Wellness on the upper floor. But there is more: a Hammam where you can experience a traditional indulging body cleaning and ceremony originating from the Middle East. They even offer a location for beach volleyball, tennis and hilarious “Parties Under The Stars” on their sundeck… Our most memorable spa experience was Ms Paulina’s full body massage with aromatic oils. She was simply the best! And we will never forget her outstanding service and her caring character: Paulina was there when we needed urgent help after my wife had to be taken to the Emergency Room in Legnica’s Provincial Hospital for some hand surgery after an accident with a broken glass jar she had in our guest room. Paulina guided us to the hospital on the outskirts of Legnica, communicated with the doctors for us and escorted us back to the hotel after the treatment. Yes, she went the extra mile and deserves an award for her warm-heartedness! We will always bear her lovely, caring way to mind a guest in need in our minds forever. Paulina gave us every reason for future visits to this outstanding hotel.

I had a very good stay there. The room and bathroom are very clean. A good view over the city. The pool area is nice and clean as well as the spa. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was good to. I recommend this hotel and will return.

The hotel is quite new and nicely presented. The staff on duty 25 Oct 15 were very friendly, helpful and spoke quite good english. Room 202 has what I assume to be a support column in it that has a mirror covering, and two stools. Room has a shared balcony. The spa is a nice bonus. Dinner was great, no other dinners so we got personal service, and breakfast was very good too. Would be quite happy to stay again. The reception is located on the 4th floor. If driving, enter the paid parking entry and drive up to the 3rd floor, then use life to the 4th floor. If walking use the lift to go straight tot the 4th floor.

Very interesting hotel. Located inside a large shopping plaza in the center of town, there is a side entrance to the elevator to the hotel level. This hotel is very modern, seems a lot of business people from Germany uses this location. The dining room for breakfast is very spacious, clean and bright. The outdoor patio offers added comfort and a decent view of the city. The food selection is good too. The staff is very discreet but attentive. The room was spacious, quiet and offered just enough space for our use. We had good sleep but really, that is it because the hotel is right off a pedestrian street to the central square that we didn't really spent that much time inside the hotel. In my opinion, this is a good place to park the luggage, shower, sleep, have a great breakfast (yes it is that good!) and spend the rest of the waking hours touring, especially there are so many things to do and see in and around Legnica, including going to the theater. I recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, with a wonderful city view,the stuff was very helpful and friendly.Restaurant serve delicious meals. Breakfast was great , we really enjoyed it ! Specially the toasts that my husband can't stop talking about! Place is also very family friendly! I'm sure we will be staying at Hotel Gwarna again!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Swimming pool, sauna area and steam room was very clean and a very relaxing area. The food was superb and the beach on the roof was stunning and clean with great views of the town. I wound not hesitate to stay there again and excellent value for money .

perhaps a bit expensive for a small city in Poland but overall very very nice, I would be happy to stay at this sort of hotel in any city I was visiting.
