"Unfriendly bad drains, no food or drink available"

The cottage was spacious

No food or drink available although we arrived during restaurant opening hours. Nothing open nearby. No bar and no tea or coffee in room. Staff not helpful. Drains smelled awful in shower Breakfast poor very basic selection. Not a friendly environment Avoid this hotel

"Nice except wasted 2 hours after a day’s bike ride."

Website said 2pm checkin. No receptionist there til 4 and she explained it was wrong on the internet. Not helpful!

Arrivés vers 14h45, nous avons du patienter jusqu'à 16h alors qu'il est indiqué sur internet et dans les mails reçus que l'accueil se fait à partir de 14h. La femme de ménage nous a expliqué que c'était à cause d'un manque de personnel... Autant changer l'heure sur le net dans ce cas. Ensuite, au niveau du logement, poussière et toiles d'araignées présentes un peu partout. Vaisselle très limitée : 4 verres pour un logement pour 6. Une petite poêle seulement etc... L'eau trouble dans les verres avec des sous-marins dedans donc vaisselle avant de pouvoir s'en servir. Eau de la douche brûlante même lorsque l'on baisse le thermostat à fond. Donc dangereux. Bref... ça va pour une nuit. L'hôtel semble avoir passé son heure de gloire depuis un moment.

"Stop over whilst touring on motorcycles."

Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed in the two bedroom annexe, small but suitable with ground floor kitchen/diner, separate toilet & shower room with two shower cubicles & double sink. Just bedrooms upstairs. Parking in gravelled car park at rear of adjacent hotel, just up the street (as only hotel’s kitchen loading bay out the back of annexe). Breakfast buffet had good selection of food & drink with machines for coffee/tea & freshly squeezed orange juice.

"Very pleasant and comfortable."

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel decor is very nice. I liked the terrasse, the garden and the facts that the rooms had a large balcony each. The breakfast was great!

It was a bit cold (I guess due to the government energy restrictions) but we could increase the heating level in the bedroom.

"Disappointing"

The bathroom was very nice with separate toilet

We have always found Logis traditional, comfortable, welcoming but this one was none of those things. No bar available, no comfortable lounge, poor food in the evening. Strange digital ordering system for evening meal. Certainly not the atmosphere we have come to expect and enjoy from Logis Hotels.
