L'amabilité du personnel. Ancienne demeure un peu kitsch. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus avec café américain (Pas de goût). Parking privé.

La chambre bien trop petite pour le prix. Pas de clim. Toilettes non nettoyées (Urine restante dans WC). Les volets persiennes ne fermaient pas du tout. Présence d'une bouilloire, oui mais pas de tasses ni infusion! Un comble. Rideaux blancs non occultant. Souper bien trop cher.

This typical Swiss “grotto,” with 100 years of history and four generations of innkeepers, isn’t just a place to stay when you’re in Lugano for a business trip or vacation—it’s an experience to be savored! Small details in the decor, an eye for the finer things. The staff is incredibly welcoming, courteous, and helpful. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast served in the garden. The restaurant is renowned throughout the region and offers simple yet excellent dishes! All this comes with exceptional value for money—hard to find in Switzerland. Very close to downtown Lugano (15 minutes by car). I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it: a 10 with honors—well done, Flora and Graziella! Thanks!

I enjoyed chatting with Flora about her family and history of the Grotto. A very convivial and homely environment in a scenic location, with a restaurant which features local products. Highly recommended

Gut mit dem Bus aus Lugano zu erreichen. Sehr schön gelegen und angenehme Atmosphäre. Alles etwas altmodisch, im guten wie im schlechten Sinne. Sehr gute Kommunikation, sie haben uns auch das Ticino-Ticket organisiert (kostenloses Busfahren und mehr). Gemeinschaftsbad war sauber und in Ordnung. Außergewöhnlich gutes Abendessen, sie gehen vorbildlich auf Wünsche ein - man fühlt sich sehr gut aufgehoben. Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Alle waren sehr gastfreundlich. Gerne wieder. Grazie!
