Wonderful hidden little gem who go above and beyond for their guests

After being cancelled last minute from somewhere else this was our only option. Very good value for money and fantastic wifi. Very helpful staff who helped me check in after a long trip and even suggested me places to eat. Would happily come again

Very calm environment and good management.It's close to bus station and ferry.

> We checked in and were told to enter through the rear door, with a pushchair the lodge has no access to go up I had to lift our pushchair with my 11-year-old son including bags > door was not unlocking from inside and were locked in for 15 to 20 minutes trying to come out no contacts in the room for any support staff, and we later got out and searched on internet as there was no one at the reception to tell that the door is not working; they promised to come and fix the door that was not flushing > we came back at 430pm and the door still had the same problem; with an under 5 year old and my family in room that cannot lock I call the same number and the man with an Indian accent screamed at me that they had fixed the door, very unprofessional not ready to listen, didn't want to come and fix as he was out at a function, lodge has no one on site, he said security was cctv, it is off the street, rear door always open. He, later came some time to 6pm, and I showed him that the door was not fixed, and he was still arguing that its fixed, but the door doesn't flush, he gave me master key which still had problems but at least I could lock > Room 25 head side of the double bed has toilet smell as the pipe comes out right next to the bed where you put your head room was smelling; my 4-year-old daughter and wife endured two nights like they are sleeping in toilet > no cleaning service; room was never cleared, or beds made throughout our stay
