"Good"

Excellent breakfast. Quiet location. Clean and tidy room.

The location is a little bit out of the way but I guess we knew that. The owners are very attentive to the point of being a little oppressive. I like space though and am not really a people person. We arrived slightly early but you will not get access until the stated time. These rules are rigidly enforced. The place was perfectly adequate just not really my cup of tea. The other issue was payment. The lady tried to take payment twice which unfortunately my bank blocked. I must admit when confronted I felt a little bit of a criminal. 🙄. Maybe I just prefer being left alone. Give it a go though as the breakfast was terrific.

Breakfast was superb. Excellent poached eggs and a great selection of fruit, cereal and cooked. Great location near but far enough away from noise.

"Nice quiet guest house, really enjoyed our stay there."

This is a lovely little guest house, our room was a great size, plenty of room to move around, lovely clean bathroom. Good choice of breakfast items, nothing too much trouble for the owners, Graeham & Lis. The owners don't go into your room at all during your stay, but if you need extra tea, coffee or anything else there are request slips in the room, items delivered quickly.

Only thing for me was a big step up into the bathroom and into the shower but no hand rails, which could be a issue for very elderly people. Would have liked towel change every other day instead of after 3rd night stay.

"Great guest house in South Bay, Scarborough"

A very comfortabe adult only guest house in South Bay. Great location, friendly owners, offers a very good breakfast, great choice and well presented, choice of 7 ensuite rooms competitively priced
