Le Village de Cottages - Le Pôle du Cheval et de l'Âne

Picked out from a the usual hotels as something different. The caravans are much more ‘rustic’ than the pictures but habitable. Was very hot and the air cooling unit didn’t make any difference. We had to be moved from one caravan as the door was not closing and the other was difficult to close. I guess from the wood movement, they are a little wonky. The staff were polite and friendly. Nice to have a small pool for the kids. The communal games room/restaurant was good for quick meals and had pool table/table football and table tennis for the kids. Good for a stopover, not sure we would spend more than a couple of nights. Still very happy we picked it for a one night experience (2 adults and 2 kids).

Mooie camping, leuk zwembad, rudtige streek. Ontbijt was heel sober. Huisje zelf was niet proper : borden en glazen nog vuil, veel spinnenwebben,... Jammer...

De passage sur la route des vacances, les roulottes du Berry sont un moyen de se dépaysera et de vuvre une expérience différente. Attention seulement lors de Fortnite chaleur ils ne sont pas climatisé ni trésor bien isolés, cela reste des roulottes et la température l intérieur monté très vite. Le petit déjeuner pourrait peut être être plus typique et surtout local afin de mieux coller au concept.

Nous avons loué 2 roulottes pour nous et nos enfants Très difficile de fermer les portes à clefs Pour le prix nous devons enlever les draps Et je vous déconseille le petit déjeuner Croissant pas frais et le reste bof

El lugar es muy bonito especialmente si te gustan los caballos. Todo está muy limpio y bien cuidado.

We loved the idea of staying in a funky caravan. They are very cool. Well build, nicely decorated, good beds and clean. However.... The caravans look to stand very free in the pictures on the website. In real there are 4 in a circle and there are probably 50 caravans. No privacy and noisy -not very relaxing. The staff is not particularly friendly either. The place is a great idea, in real life I can not recommend it.

The accommodation was great and setting lovely the local area is lovely too good for families.

This place is for people who want to have a unique experience in Europe. It is not really a hotel but a place to "camp." It is kind of a "tiny house." The rooms are actually train wagons that can sleep up to five adults. They have a bathroom with a shower, kitchen, and a table with five chairs inside. It is great for adults, but I guarantee that young kids will love it.

Great location, fun area, the trailers are great fun to stay in. The wifi did not work and the breakfast was very underwhelming.

Très rigolo avec les enfants ! Mais en début de saison, nous étions les seuls sur le site : attention, personne sur place, pas de gardien... cela dit, tout s'est très bien passé. Petit dej correct.
