Hotel Appenzell

Die Lage direkt am Hauptplatz und bei der Fussgängerzone ist optimal! Parkplätze hat es direkt hinter dem Hotel. Auch das Nachtessen, den Apéro draussen, das Frühstück und das Café mit sehr leckeren Backwaren war spitze.

Wir hatten ein schönes Eckzimmer auf der 2. Etage mit Lift. Das Abendessen im wunderschönen Speisesääli ist sehr lecker und unbedingt zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist direkt im Zentrum mit eigenen Parkplätzen hinter dem Haus. In der hauseigenen Confiserie wird das feine Frühstücksbüffet aufgestellt. Getränke und Eierspeisen werden zum Tisch gebracht.

Amazing hotel and very helpful staff.

The food was incredibly delicious. The salads so fresh and nicely presented. The bathroom was laid out with a nice space for your toiletries.

Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. My flight was delayed and reception staff were very helpful and good at communicating when I messaged to say I’d be a few hours late.

Ate dinner in the hotel one evening and service sadly was very very slow and staff were unfriendly/bordering on rude. Found the same to be true at breakfast each morning. Must add that the lady on reception was quite the opposite and was exceptionally helpful and friendly so my experience was purely limited to the restaurant.

Saturday night the sound of conversations in the outside patio carried a bit. Our room had windows that opened directly overhead but it quieted down before 10pm

This was the perfect hotel to stay in, as it was right in the heart of Appenzell and made everything accessible by foot. Bonus points for the parking lot for our rental car.
