"Well Presented, Oasis in the jungle"

8.0

We were just here for our first night in Samoa and it rained buckets! But kids still swam, pools are great but beware the surface is a bit rough and can graze easily ( knees, chin etc). Beautifully kept surrounds and buildings. Pretty good value if you can get special rates, as rooms nice inside, bathroom very nice showers look cool though didn't use ( walls out of mosaic rocks). Paths and steps can be a bit slippery as on slope, but it was very wet. Restaurant okay, though a bit dark struggled to see menu and food! Breakfast very adequate. All quite grand but just looked a bit empty and sad- probably there on a quiet day.

"Nice plants and sicluded area. "

6.0

Upon arrival we were surprised with a complimentary juice drink waiting for us and a friendly welcome from the staff. We immediately loved the plant life setting that covered the hotel area. Very beautiful. The room was nice and simple with the staff letting us know how to contact reception and the free shuttle rides to Apia. The shower tap could do with a little work where it would be hot then straight away cold with out no warm selection plus the shower drainage needed to drain a little faster. The pool was very nice in colour but my kids would complain about the rough sand surface where it should be smooth all around inside. The kids menu was well priced but not for its quality. Macarroni n cheese, pizza and the gourmet hotdog just looked like a home meal that could be done by school kids. Adults dinner was superb. Loved it. But it would be helpful to have the whole menu available. The eating area had a few annoying cats so that needs a look at. Now the Wi-Fi offer needs a demanding upgrade, something better than just an hour usage payment like Aggie greys $100 for 3 days and the TV reception needs a better look with a kids channel at least. Other than that the staff was very nice and helpful.

"Beautiful Grounds and Friendly Staff"

10.0

Blown away as soon as we entered the Hotel with the welcoming and the drums beating. Greeted with a cool drink while our room details were sorted. Staff couldn't be more helpful, best hotel staff I have encounter on my travels. Made to feel welcome and nothing was too small or too large for them to assist with. Grounds were amazing like a private park with the manicured gardens. Pool area was lovely although they do need a little attention but purely cosmetic

"Great Place to stay apart from the breakfast"

8.0

Had a great time here, however the biggest let downs are the "free breakfast" and incorrect menus. The free breakfast are just yuck, most of it looked like left overs from the night before, eggs over done, some god awful mince thing. We had the free breakfast 3 times, hoping it would get better it did not, after that we ended up ordering from the breakfast menu which was not as bad. This was the biggest let down of the trip and would have made the trip a lot better if they cooked breakfast right and have better options (i.e. bacon, breakfast sausages etc). The menu was also not correct with some dishes, some would say banana bread would come as a side and this never turned up, salad side missing from the burgers. One of the breakfasts we ordered should have come with vegetables and a sausage when we pointed this out to them they did bring it but the sausage was uneatable (worst thing I have tasted). Looked like it was from 5 nights ago and put in the microwave. Once you got past the breakfast the rest of the food was not bad, steak night was great :) Drinks are cheap (cocktails, beer etc) can of coke does cost the same as a bottle of local beer however (6 tala) They also have a small issue with Air con, our villa (11) was not to bad but another guest said that theirs did not work at all well and was told they needed to be re-gas which the owners know about. Would I stay here again, yes as you get a good deal, would I ever eat the breakfast again, NO.
