Aoraki Mount Cook Alpine Lodge

The room was warm and comfy with good wifi and facilities. Location was amazing and right next door to the Hermitage Hotel for activities and meals. Parking was easy and located near the information center.

Rooms are small but well kitted out. Walls were on the thin side (so a little noisy at times) and the main view is from the common area (which is fabulous).

It is our 2nd time staying here and we love the location. Being on the upper floor truly helps in giving us the privacy we needed.

The toilet bowl creaks everytime it is being used. Maybe it is just for the room that we were in. The kitchen is fully furnished but we couldnt find scissors.

Not much. Views from the lounge in the lodge were nice. Kitchen well equipped.

Most of it. It is an old place in need of a refresh. Room smelt old and of cleaning agents. Bed was concave and you could feel the springs in the mattress. Carpets were really old and gross. Bathroom was very very basic. We hated it so much we forfeited the second night and booked ourselves into the hermitage. The rooms were also expensive, the exact same price as the hermitage hotel next door. My fault - booked too early and didnt realise when prices had dropped due to dynamic pricing.

The view is incredible and room is comfortable. Everything was clean and kitchen well prepared and organized with a beautiful view.

Check in could be a bit earlier , at least 2pm, considering the price.

The view is spectacular! You couldn’t ask for a better location. The staff are friendly, and make you feel welcome. I felt like they went out of their way to help. The communal kitchen and lounge was comfortable and clean.

Comfortable room, good kitchen facilities, nice lounge with Sky TV and comfortable lounge. Would be a nice view if the rain stopped.

Shared Kitchen Facilities were good. Room view was just partial of the mountain view. Reception was good in replying and gave reminder about grocery shopping in the area, etc.

Wish there is another mirror outside the bathroom and more space in the room as it is really tiny.

Amazing stay! Rooms are warm and clean and the location is perfect. The shared kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. Couldn’t rate higher! We’ll definitely be back.
