Hotel Palia Maria Eugenia

Excellent location with a beautiful view from the room. The food was delicious. This was our third time in Mallorca but our first stay at this hotel, and we liked the food here the most. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pools were great, and there were plenty of activities and entertainment for children.

Sometimes we had to wait a while for the elevator, as the hotel has seven floors but only two lifts. On one occasion, while we were resting in our room, a man wearing a medical badge unlocked and entered our room with his key. He seemed to be a doctor and had probably mistaken our room for another one. We understand that it was an honest mistake, but it was still quite uncomfortable as we were relaxing at the time. We would also suggest having a staff member present near the children’s pools. During our stay, there was a family with a child, and the father behaved very aggressively towards other children who wanted to play with his son or accidentally touched their toys. He shouted at several children, including ours, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. We didn’t report the incident because we assumed it was an isolated situation, but having staff nearby would help ensure a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

What an incredible hotel especially for young families.. The staff were incredible.. The location was superb with spectacular views.. I loved the splash pools for toddler which allowed us to relax. The views of the ocean were amazing and just a walk away and I loved the selection of foods every meal. Wonderful atmosphere and especially the entertainment by the staff.

That the trip ended

Very clean, great food selection. Always had plenty of sunbeds available. Staff were great and helpful.

There was not much of a kids club with much going on but more eventful for adults?! No mention of closed off area for kids for the smaller pools till we arrived. Kids were only aloud to be in main pool area with the slides. Pool was not heated but that’s Majorca in general. Evening entertainment was poor.

The staff were exceptional, so friendly, so efficient and are a true credit to the hotel. The hotel should be very proud of their staff. The food was plentiful, consistent and of a very high standard. The pool area was excellent. Great facilities for kids. Entertainment was constant throughout the day and night and the entertainment staff were so talented and energetic every day!

Not much around the area but honestly I don't feel that was a big negative because every thing you need is in the hotel and there were still plenty of local shops etc.
