The Cubana Ballina

Very cool place to stay with a lovely little pool on the edge of town. The rooms are always exceptionally clean and the housekeeping staff are lovely.

The vibe

I liked this place. The room was large with a comfortable 2 seater lounge, microwave and toaster, with plates and cutlery. I loved the pool area although it had been raining so all the chairs were wet. There is a lovely big grassy area outside the pool with deck chairs and a BBQ area. Apparently there is a communal kitchen, and a laundry but we didn't use either. Sadly we were only there for 1 night.

It was right on the main road. I didn't notice it when in the room, only when I opened the door. So only a very small negative, and only because I like to read outside.

Gorgeous, updated retro hotel with all the mod cons about a 15 minute walk from town. Very clean room, very comfortable bed and very helpful staff. Undercover parking, pristine pool, BBQ, plus a communal kitchen and laundry.

One of the best motels I've stayed at. Great location, easily reacha ke from the motorway, but at the same qhiet. Close to cafes and restaurants. Great size rooms, everything perfectly clean and super well maintained (we stayed in the same room one year apart), smart TV for BYO netflix, decent size fridge, efficient AC, clean good size pool, super friendly staff!
