DISGUSTED. After waiting for 20 minutes before I seen someone. A rude lady approached me. I said 'I've got a booking' she said ‘with a dog''did you tell us about the dog’ I said I booked online which states that it's pet friendly. She began complaining about Hotels.com and how they have nothing to do with her and how I shouldn’t use them. There was a family sat in there having food whilst she's making me and my dog feel like we have some kind of disease. He is the most clean, well behaved dog you will ever meet. Saying 'have you brought his bed' 'have you brought his bowls' 'have you brought a mat for his bowls' 'I don't want him on any furniture' I felt so embarrassed by this point. She finally started walking me to the room saying I should have rang them. She said 'that's what everyone else does' She has nothing to do with Hotels.com and I shouldn’t have booked on there. Then don’t have an online booking system She then said to me 'we charge an extra £10 per night in cash for the dog' I said I have card & it says £6 online. She said if you have card and you're going into Llanberis then you can get cash out can't you. I said I've only got my phone, that's what I use. She started to lose her patience and aggressively said that she has no other means of payment. I was holding back tears when she was stood in the room, I was so embarrassed. I booked a last minute trip as I’ve been having a difficult time with my health and this so called human being was just outrageous.

Delicious breakfast . Lovely tearoom on site. Owners very knowledgeable and friendly. Location perfect for exploring in different directions. Rooms perfect for our needs. Two doubles with shared bathroom for our family . Would visit again

The breakfast was very nice. And the service was really good. The people running the B&B were helpful with suggestions on where to go and activities to do etc. It's on a busy roundabout but it was pretty quiet and didn't hear much noise at night. Clean tea room and bedroom/ensuite. The water pressure was good and the shower stayed hot. Close to Snowdon, only a 25 minute drive. Dog friendly room and could bring him to breakfast with us.

The room was really cold, when I mentioned this to the owner, he said the heating was on a timer, so we couldn't control this ourselves, we stayed for 2 nights and never felt the radiator come on once. The restaurant/bar was only open between 8am and 5pm but the sign said evening meals were available. You can't walk to any bars or restaurants so you have to rely on taxis or driving. We didn't actually stay in the main house, it was more like an annex and we had to go outside to get to breakfast. The curtains opened out into the carpark, whilst the view to the right was lovely, it was a bit off putting having the car park directly in front of the window with next door walking past our room. I didn't like the fact that the owners came into our room for housekeeping and turned my phone off charge (they turned every single plug off in the room). It felt like we were guests in someone's house rather than a B&B.
