Had a lovely stay at Groeslon Ty Mawr. It's a proper old-fashioned B&B that reminded me of childhood holidays. Mark and Ruth were very welcoming and kind and made me feel right at home. I stayed upstairs in the main building. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cosy with a lovely view out over the valley. There were all the usual amenities like a kettle, small TV and so on. The room had a sink, which was convenient since the bathroom was shared. However, I think it was only shared with one other room and there was never anyone else in it when I needed to use it. There was a delicious freshly-cooked breakfast in the morning on top of a selection of cereals, fruit juices and tea/coffee. Ruth was happy to make me a vegetarian version. The tea room is open during the day but there didn't seem to be food on offer in the evening and they don't offer a packup/early breakfast if you need to go out earlier than 8am. Fair enough since they're up early as it is for breakfast service and don't get a day off! There are plenty of dinner options close by in Llanberis or Bangor. The location is beautiful up on the hill top, with amazing views. However, you do need your own transport to stay there as it's several miles out of town. There is plenty of space in the car park.

Very nice breakfast, very pleasant hosts, good location

Our room was located upstairs with shared bathroom, all in all that's not big off a deal but problem is a VERY NOISY WATHER TANK which kept as awake at night and in the morning NOT GOOD AT ALL. It was our second stay here,the first time we stayed we had room on the ground floor, and that room was really nice .

Not enough milk for tea and coffee in the room. Apart from hand wash there were no other washing or shower products.Scarcely enough loo roll either.
