Good staff, nice welcome. Authentic country pub. Good beer and food.

Pillows a bit hard, cobwebs on dining room walls. Would have like juice and/or fruit for breakfast.

Location is great. Bar has a fabulous range of beers and it’s a great breakfast.

The staff were warm and friendly on arrival, helping us with bags and greeting us with a smile. The room selection was excellent, plenty of room and a good bathroom with a large shower area. The view was lovely from our window and the extra cushions and pillows were welcomed. The room was warm and cosy and we were able to relax quickly here. W e decided to eat at the restaurant and had great service with a smile and the food was excellent and good value. We also stayed for breakfast which again was to a good standard and there was a good range to choose from. I really enjoyed the strong coffees and was well satisfied with the full English. We could check out later at 11.oo which was helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was okay and the bathroom was good. The location was good.

Room 5 was very small and was overcrowded with furniture. It was above the bar and very noisy.
