The room was pleasant and the facility was not crowded - only about 6 occupants for 60 rooms!

I wonder why I paid so much above the average rate for this property when it seems to me to be just a very ordinary room! I cannot see where the premium value lies!! The receptionist was not at the premises at all during my stay (only phone contact) and the "1st class" restaurant was firmly closed (but selling goods in the frig and thus taking up space for our use!). For a property with so much space for parking (it was huge!), there was no cover for cars (which is always a concern with Queensland's stormy weather); the lighting in the room was dull (basically some fancy lights over the mirror on one wall and bed-side lamps); the air con is a very old unit in need of upgrading;

Meals were absolutely yummy and top quality. Plenty to go around too. Room service could not be faulted.

It was noisy, the bathroom toilet and basin were not cleaned very well, and the shower was not really comfortable.

Location is close to town. Breakfast was great
