Pickmere Country House

Location was amazing for a stop off on our travel up the country to Scotland. Breakfast was really superb - freshly cooked, personal service and great coffee. Attention to detail was exceptional.

Liked it all. Room and bathroom were exactly what we needed, comfy bed, accessible shower. Genuinely great for our stay. Access to the garden was brilliant and can see it would be delightful in the summer.

Location was only 10 minutes from Knutsford, we had a day at the Xmas Markets. Rooms was ok, breakfast was lovely.

Shower didn’t work in our room after my husband used it. Found it a little on the expensive side for a guest house.

Used the car charger overnight too, very helpful.

Amazing hosts, delicious breakfast.

The annex room was small. The bathroom was a very small wet room. An enclosed shower is needed as the space is tiny and right next to the bedroom, it was a pain having to mop up all the water after each shower.

Private parking, quiet location, beautiful characterful house, charming hosts. Our room was small but very comfortable with all needs catered for and conveniently adjacent to a little garden which was perfect for our dog

Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional though. The breakfast was quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve ever had whilst away from home. Amazing choices. All of which were delicious.
