Glen Villa Resort

The cabin was bigger than expected. The bed was very comfy. Girls on the front desk were always welcoming and happy daily. Location isn't central but is quiet. Couldnt hear the road noise.

The toilet cistern constantly filled. I told them straight away and they looked that say but said it needed a plumber and one would come through next day. He never came for the rest of the week. And i had to take the lid off and use it manually which was a pain.

The bed was definitely well used, the whole left side had a dip from broken springs. The kitchen, and bathroom were clean with nothing bad to note. The location is very nice, close enough to town to walk to everything.

Only thing would be a better, not broken mattress for the room. Potentially more blankets available as well for the colder nights as we get closer to winter. And a flyscreen in the doors, we could not keep the door open for fresh air without letting flies/mosquitos into the room.

My upgrade to another room

The single cabins doesn’t have a proper door. Its only a net with a piece of plastic at the bottom. According to the manager it says so on the webpage but not on Bookings description. Luckily I could upgrade to another accommodation type

The locations

The Tupperware and utensils were all dirty we had to wash most of them before using them. There were a lot of broken things, like a bowl, towel rack etc. we kept finding brown long hairs (not our hair colour).

The complex was nice

It was dirty. Mould in the curtains small shower uncomfortable bed. Bed sheets had holes in it
