St Marys Gate Inn

Room was lovely. Food was delicious in the bar. Breakfast was limited. Cooked breakfast not an option. All staff were lovely and helpful. Amazing view from the Cathedral room.

The location was perfect for exploring Arundel and the surrounding area. We were able to walk into the centre of Arundel in a matter of minutes. Our room was clean, comfortable with a modern ensuite shower. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, including freshly baked pastries. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on two evenings too. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous.

There was a slight query over our booking on our arrival. It had proved necessary to reschedule our stay (we were originally booked to stay for 3 nights in early January) and we had received email confirmation that a room had been reserved for us but the staff on duty when we arrived to register weren't aware of this. It was quickly resolved.

Small bedroom

Very accommodating staff. Even though above the pub you couldn’t hear a thing from the pub below. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful. The bath in the room was delightful and the best was very comfy! Loved our stay. Breakfast at the weekend was also cooked freshly to order and was generous portions and great produce!

The pillows had very little support.

The location was very good,. The facilities were good, clean and accessible. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The room was comfortable, clean and warm and the views were amazing.

The stairs were a little tricky and we had to be aware of the headroom near the bottom.

A bit soulless

To bright. Lacking in character for a 500 year old property

Nothing not too like.

Excellent location with good on site parking. Very comfortable room . Friendly staff. Good continental breakfast with excellent fresh croissants.
