Bay Motel

Great position directly across the road from the main beach in Byron Bay and steps away from restaurants, cafe's, shops, bars, pub..fabulous! Room clean, fresh and good size with useful, well equipped kitchenette. Staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Bed was a little saggy but we still slept okay

It’s a little run down It was hard to get to sleep at night because of the loud music and voices coming from venues close by

There is a night club at the back of the property playing very loud music into the early hours of the morning. If I had of known I would not have stayed there. Friday night.

Room 11 backs onto the No Name Baylane Bar across the back lane. This property remains open til midnight on Saturday nights. The outdoor music shuts down at midnight the patrons continue to remain gathered outside talking loudly for some time afterwards. I realise this is outside of the motels control however as paying guests and owners of a business, tthere should be solution that both the bar and the motel could come too. If provided room 11 please have good ear plugs.

This room was dirty, the shower was broken, also the TV did not work. The room smelt damp/musky. Only 4 hours sleep, due to bar next to our room playing loud music until 1am, then the dustbins being emptied at 6am. The glasses supplied were dirty and smelt awful This room is not as described on booking.com, it needs a complete refurbishment

Room is in perfect location right opposite beach and near all the shops and restaurants

A bit noisy at night but was a Friday night
