Location is excellent. The motel has been around for a long time so it’s old. Still has the old breakfast hole in the wake. Everything has been painted, not a fan of the dark colours but it’s clean. The beds were ok but clean. The aircon was good, gold air as soon as you turn it on. Surprisingly quiet too given the location. Gated secure parking and self check in a great idea. Loved the darkness of the second room in the twin room.

The door locks upon closing and if you don’t have the keys in your hand then you’re locked out. Water pressure in the shower a bit off. Also if someone uses the water in another room your shower loses pressure and warmth. Self check in means no staff to speak with, that said, got to briefly speak with the host the morning of check out, seemed lovely. Also the cleaning ladies seem nice. 😊

- The security of the property was excellent. I was alone, and felt very safe staying there. - The clear arrival & departure instructions. - The cleanliness and neatness of the room, kitchenette and bathroom. - Having a kitchenette, as well as a proper table & chairs in the room. - Sturdy timber seating outside the room. - Parking right outside the room.

- Zero response from the owners to my query to them via Booking.com after booking. - The wall clock batteries died within an hour of my arrival. - No power points for use beside the bed. - A firmer pillow would be great, rather than only soft pillows. - The spare blanket was gorgeous, but there was only a single for the queen sized bed. - The shower taps were the old style and very difficult to turn on, and even harder to turn off (to stop the dripping water). - The big armchair, which looked comfy and which I really looked forward to using, obviously hasn't been deep cleaned in a very long time. It stunk. - Housekeepers walking backwards & forwards past my room at least a dozen times in the morning. Once or twice would've been understandable, but the constant backwards & forwardsing was disconcerting as I had the curtains and window open for much needed light and fresh air.

I paid $25 fior my pet dog.

Bed was hard, paying extra for my pet dog.

The location and ease of finding the motel was so easy and very close by our conference

That I could stay longer , only had 2 days stay

The location.... far enough from the motorway to not here vehicle noise, a short walk to the Tweed River green space which was most welcome after a full day of driving. Reception - friendly staff

Our room was on the first floor, so we needed to carry our luggage upstairs and down again on departure. The kitchen and bathroom cabinetry could do with an update.
