Hampton Inn - Atmore

My family had a 4 night stay at the Hampton Inn Atmore and it was wonderful. During my February 12- 16 stay, I commended the lady who made the buffet breakfast by herself every morning. The dining room was spacious with a good number of tables and chairs. The buffet was made fresh and delicious with a wide selection of breakfast items, fruit, juice, milk and coffee. The same lady kept the tables cleaned, emptied trash, and replenished food items from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. She was personable, organized and has a great work ethic. She deserves positive recognition for her work from corporate. Next, my room was very clean and the 2 Queen beds in the room were comfortable. It was great having both refrigerator and microwave in the room. Check-in was a breeze as it took 2 minutes. The 4th floor room view faced I-65 highway, Chevron Gas Station, 2 other hotels, McDonald’s, Popeye’s, Sonic, Hardee’s and Taco Bell. The opposite side of the hotel faced the Wind Creek Casino and Resort and Starbucks. Overall, my stay was 5/5 and I will stay here again.

Honestly, the photos don't do it justice & we enjoyed our 2 night stay, so we will definitely be back again! The hot breakfast was very bountiful & the food was good, plus the self-serve coffee station in the lobby was kept stocked & clean. We appreciated the texts to see how our stay was going & we slept great in the comfy king sized bed. The roll down room darkening shades were absolutely perfect the room rates were very affordable. Definitely we got more bang for our buck here than over at the Wind Creek where we stayed a few nights later to gamble. Were it not for my husband who likes to gamble & imbibe until the wee hours of the morning, we'd stay here, then just walk over to the WC, however the long walk back in the dark after drinking probably wouldn't be safe.

Room and hotel were nice, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was above average but didn't have any standout features. Used the hotel as a stopover on the way to a cruise out of mobile. Ship was late, but the hotel accommodated with a late checkout.
