Hampton Inn - Atmore

Room was good. Cleanliness was good. Breakfast was horrible (don't waste your time trying it). Biggest problem was a customer across the hall who had a dog which started barking at like 5:15am and would bark nonstop until roughly 6:30am or so. I reported it the first morning it happened, the front desk clerk was shocked and reported it to her manager who supposedly spoke with the occupant(s) about "keeping the dog quiet". NO RESOLUTION as the dog started even earlier the next morning. It's not that I have a problem with dogs, but I have a REAL problem with inconsiderate and irresponsible self-entitled individuals who inflict their uncontrolled pets on others, and I have an even more serious issue with business (like this particular hotel) who do not enforce making sure that their customers privacy and right to a quiet stay are defended. I will not stay at this hotel again - it is NOT up to par with the Hilton brand. If you choose to stay at this location, be prepared to have to get breakfast elsewhere and potentially put up with noisy pets in adjacent rooms.

Super friendly staff and a comfortable bed, highly recommended!

Very comfortable beds, nice furniture, two water bottles at check-in, walking to several restaurants and a convenience mart. The casino grounds were very pretty at night with a large pond with a fountain and up- lighting on clump river birch trees. It was a nice little walk after a long drive. Also a good breakfast with several choices. We had a table by the window and got to watch the birds in the feeder! Our room only had one bath towel and washcloth- didn’t notice until the morning though!
