Holiday Inn Express and Suites Lafayette East by IHG

They had my reservation for a different date than I books with Expedia and are giving me a hard time about refunding my room

Staff could have been a little friendly

2 nd time staying there. as excellent as the first

Was quiet…rooms nice size. Clean overall.

Not that I didn’t like, but some aspects like carpet in room needed spotting or replaced. Elevator was a little rough looking inside. Just some updating needed. Mattress was a little too hard.

Very convenient for what we were in town for. There was definitely issues with water with fans blowing on all floors. Slight musty smell. Otherwise the pool was great, breakfast was good. Room was clean but had a musty smell.

Hotel desk declined a change in date from the 3rd party even though rate and same room was available.

Property overall was fine. I overheard desk attendant offer to keep the pool open a little longer for a late-arriving guest. Good breakfast choices. Great check in and desk attendant was VERY helpful. Elevator was hot and humid.

I called the front desk and asked for more towels, only for them to tell me to come get them myself. I also received a call at exactly 10 pm from the front desk stating the guest below me was complaining about the noise. The lady stated that at 10 pm, we start quiet time. My family of 5 (3 of whom are toddlers) and I had just returned from the pool at 9:55 and were just getting settled into the room. I told the front desk we had just returned from the pool and entered the room, and asked if she was serious. She rudely replied; Yes, please be quiet and hung up. At 8 am the next morning, we arrived at the continental breakfast, and most of the food was gone. I asked if they could refill the pancake machine, and was told someone would do so. Someone came to clean the area, which was disgusting, and my shoes were sticking to the carpet, but no one filled the pancakes. Overall, I would not stay here again.
