Paradise Cove Resort

The property is well maintained and the snorkelling and water sports at the end of the garden a real highlight. Dinner options were good too. Villas are lovely.

Not the property's fault but Vanuatu roads still very damaged after the earthquake so access to the property challenging. Our villa was right at the back of the property which made it dark and no sun on the verandah.

Nothing really. Well considered and thoughtful resort. Maybe some lighter lunch options would be good.

Everything you need is right at your fingertips at Paradise Cove. The reef is right off the beach where you can snorkel and see amazing underwater life. There is access to kayaks, bikes, snorkelling gear, reef shoes, books, games all included in your stay! Rooms were great too, spacious, clean and well equipped. Through the accommodation you can organise a mini bus with a driver to hire for the day and visit all the spots of Vanuatu.

Not necessarily a dislike but more of a good to know - the accommodation is ~30 minutes from Port Villa and it's difficult to get a bus in to town. The closest supermarket is ~ 2kms away. The seclusion is part of the beauty though!

Nothing we loved our stay

Everything was awesome. Constance, Marc and all their local staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Was very easy to arrange airport transport and day tours as you like. We loved everything about our stay, especially being able to snorkel on a beautiful sheltered and protected reef from the private jetty at the resort (making it perfect for beginners). The accommodation and food were also excellent, I particularly enjoyed the fresh local fish!

Not really a negative, but for information, the resort is located a reasonable distance from the town of Port Vila, requiring to take a bus or water taxi to make the trip in for essentials and food if self-catering and on a budget. Not a big deal, but maybe worth stopping at the local supermarket when you first arrive (depending on time), especially if you are planning to cook for yourself during your stay. The remote location is otherwise a very big positive!
