The Highfield Hotel

Room was very big, clean and airy. Very hot so asked for fan,,,,Adam on reception soon sorted. Big car park and wifi is adequate. Bathroom decor a bit tired and stain on carpet near bathroom door. Pub on site keep good beers and the food is ok. Didn’t use the swimming pool. If in the area would definitely stay again.

Excellent location for what we needed, room is spacious and not too cozy. Excellent facilities, close to all amenities. Pub served excellent food and reasonable priced

Staff were lovely. Informative and welcoming. Room was much larger than expected and was equipped with all we could want

The staff were helpful, the room size was good and clean. We did not have breakfast as needed to depart early to an event. We liked the fact that we could keep our dog in the room.

We did not like the sound from an event attached to the hotel, party go-ers spilled into the car park outside our room and were obviously having to shout to speak over the music(?) from the open doors of the facility. This did not stop until 12.30 am, add another 15 minutes for people to disburse. If the hotel had warned us we would have stayed elsewhere. At the least we should have been accommodated the rooms at the back of the building.

Car park full . No disabled spaces available due to wedding guests parking in them . Dog barking at 4-00 am when someone took it out for a walk by the sound of it . Yapping at 9.00 Smell of bacon as soon as I walked into corridor Room 410

The hotel was stink of cigarettes and mould Didn't help having stickers don't smoke Didn't help Wifi was terrible
