Amazing traditional Japanese stay experience. It was exactly what I wanted.

Great location, heaps of space to enjoy the property and unwind.

It was a little noisey with construction on a near property working through the night.

Close to subway. Traditional Japanese style. Beautiful garden in the back.

Need better guidance on how to get here by subway.

Good location, near important bus lines, nice renovation of an old town house

Old houses are made of paper, keep your earplugs at hand if you need it very quiet. This is a given given the type of house though...

Great location to Omiya station and bus stops, convenient, right next to a convenience store great for coffee and food in the morning, unique experience staying in a traditional japanese town house with it all to ourselves, excellent heating, comfortable traditonal mat japanese style beds with comfy bedding, beautiful traditional bathroom, perfect location for train to bamboo forest, Eco friendly toilets with basins on top of toilet is excellent

It really needs a good scrub, the upstairs toilet cistern was stained and floor was very dusty in toilet, Bring your ear plugs its on a main road. Garden could use some attention more plants and flowers.

It was a great experience. The house is spacious, which is a welcome change from small hotel rooms in city hotels. I would definitely recommend it for a few nights.

The check in / check out process was not super clear. We only learned the day before our arrival that we had to inform the staff of our arrival time. But the staff answered all our questions really fast so in the end everything worked out fine. The only thing that I really missed was someplace to hang my clothes. There wasn't much storage.

予約したのは「しらふじ庵」という宿でしたが、急な諸事情により、「さわら木の宿」へ 変更となりました。宿の担当の方の説明や、変更への対応がすごく良かったです。桜の季節の姉妹旅行でしたが、結局、桜名所に宿も近く、京のおばんざいを持ち帰り宿で食べたり、良い旅行となりました。

室内、お庭、お風呂ともに大変素敵な町屋です！場所も便利、かつ駅前のサービスカウンターの設置など、チェックイン・アウトおよび滞在中のサポートのシステムもとても良くできています。是非また泊まりたいと思います。ただ、改善をお願いしたいことは、敷布団が1枚だけで少々薄いことと、浴衣の提供が不明瞭であること。浴衣についてはWebページの部屋の詳細には何も書かれておらず、サービスカウンターに直接電話して聞いたところ、バスタオルも浴衣も全て用意されている、との回答。そこでパジャマを持たずに行ったら浴衣が無い。サービスカウンターに電話したら+500円での用意のリクエストが無かったから用意していなかったとのこと。夜10時過ぎにもかかわらず、30分ほどで持ってきてくれたのは大変良かったですが、Webページに何も書かれておらず、サービスカウンターでも人によって言うことが違っているのは問題。改善をお願いします。
