HF Fénix Garden

Stayed here my final night in Portugal. Knew I wouldn’t be there long so was happy to find an inexpensive but clean & nice place. It was a quick 15-20 min Uber from airport which was convenient cause trains weren’t running at 5am. It is close to the train as well so location is decent - it’s a long walk to some of the neighborhoods. It doesn’t look great from outside & is on the super busy roundabout so could hear some horns. Overall a good, affordable option.

Friendly staff and overall the room was nice. My only complaint would be the lack of insulation from the windows. They must have been single pane glass next to the busy street, because the noise level was so loud that I kept thinking the windows had to be open!

This is a great value, well run hotel that is well located and close to the Metro system. The rooms are so well thought out: socket next to the bed, huge window out to your personal patio (I was on 8th floor). Electric blind, well lit bathroom, fridge, tea and coffee. The team on reception were all very friendly and cheerful. And I got up late on one of my days, not leaving the room until 2pm - and my room was still made up. A pleasant surprise. Thank you Fenix! I will definitely come back.

Its a very good hotel, clean, and very well conected.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is on the Marquis de Pombal square which is the start of the hop on hop off bus routes and a metro station. Not in the historic area, but a short trip away. Restaurants and a patisserie are nearby. Limited parking on the premise; we were lucky.

One night stay, convenient for Metro to the airport. Clean bright room with comfortable bed. Great selection of food at breakfast

Super convenient and centrally located right near Marquis de Pombal Square (and Station). Our room was a good size and perfect for our (2-night) stay. Our room also faced the back, so outside noise was not an issue. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good, though it was slow to drain at times. The staff were very kind and helpful! Note: there are a few HF hotels connected / right next to one another. We initially went to the wrong one but the front desk staff was able to look up our reservation for the correct HF hotel.

Staff polite and helpful from the moment we arrived, room was on 8th floor with a balcony which gave amazing view of the area. Room was in good condition and cleaned daily, nice to have a fridge as well to keep drinks cold. Good location for bus stops and the metro system, close to the botanical garden which a nice place to visit

We spent three nights at the Fenix. It was near the metro and an easy walk along the Ave Liberdade to get to shopping and sightseeing. Diane at the reception desk was so helpful with tours and general information.

Front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all kind of questions particularly Lily and Armando and all the rest of them The hotel was clean the room was spacious so was the bathroom Very close to the metro and all kind of transportation 30 minutes walk from praca do commercio and downtown
