Hospitality out of this world! Our stay started with a wonderful tour, welcomed to our room with prosecco, treats and strawberries after a very long and tedious day of travelling. Beautiful grounds and amenities. So close to the town of Amalfi and Conca dei Marini. Excellent spa services - we felt so pampered. We had a private driver and tour of Pompei followed by lunch at Bosco De'Medici winery. Encouraged to use the special ordering system for breakfast in our room, and the turn down service always had little stories in scrolls and sweets. We loved the local ceramic kitchenware at breakfast, and can't say enough wonderful things about the servers and food! We loved the décor and all the finishing touches harkening back to when the property was a cloister. The concierge staff went over and above to help us ship some souvenirs back to Canada via courier to keep our suitcases light. A gorgeous setting, heated pool, restaurants, beautiful sun terrace and a very dreamy visit! 10/10 and hope to stay again one day.

A fantastic hotel with excellent facilities and friendly staff, set on the cliffs overlooking Amalfi. The gardens and spa provide a great escape from the bustle of nearby towns and villages. The hotel provides a courtesy shuttle to and from nearby Amalfi, which is very helpful for those looking to avoid driving on the narrow/ busy coastal roads. The dining experience at their Il Refettorio restaurant is wonderful and we enjoyed the food throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

The Monestero Santa Rosa was the BEST HOTEL THAT I HAVE STAYED IN IN MY WHOLE LIFE. Had a beautiful balcony room facing the Amalfi Coast 3000 ft below us. Stayed 10 nights and the Service and The food was AMAZING. The Infinity pool is tremendous and everyone working there CAN'T DO ENOUGH FOR YOU !! A bit pricey at $2200 a night but it was a LIFETIME EXPERIENCE ♥️♥️🇮🇹🇮🇹

Stunning location, courteous staff, incredible room and little gifts placed throughout the stay. Plentiful breakfast. Use of the spa was a nice treat.

A very beautiful building, carefully renovated, but far from places where tourists are, from the restaurants, so you definitely spend time in the hotel. An authentic abbey where monks once lived, you can find many old elements here, e.g. a confessional. Beautiful swimming pool, amazingly situated on a cliff, good restaurant, spa.

The pool is beautiful and in an amazing location, but during the day it is full of seagulls bathing in it, which was both nice and uncomfortable for the people, the birds were large, they are not afraid of people, and of course there is the question of the cleanliness of the water. which I will skip. The selection of breakfast dishes is quite modest, everything was a la carte, not for everyone. The room is quite spacious, but since the interiors are former cells, you can imagine how monks lived here. The spa looks amazing in the photos, but spa inside was quite average in my opinion, they have an outdoor bed, but the outside space itself was also not as stunning as we experiences in some Four Seasons Resorts. It is definitely worth coming here if you are looking for a place that is far from noisy touristic places, an authentic abbey and a nicely located swimming pool, but I don't think we will come back, please forgive us, it wasn't for us, although the views from the room window were really amazing and unforgettable...

The property, its grounds, staff and services were top notch. One might say that we paid high prices for all of that, but this was the only place we’d wished we were staying longer. The way they welcomed us was unique and memorable.

The most picturesque, peaceful and upscale property in the Amalfi Coast. The resort was previously a monastery and maintains the meditative environment while providing top notch service and facilities. The pool is built into a cliff overlooking the sea, the dining areas are gorgeous and share the same view of the sea and gardens. The gardens are incredible, they rival the highly praised gardens of Ravello and offer a sanctuary in which to relax after traveling around the coast. We did a few day tips which are easy to plan using private transfer or the hotels shuttle to Amalfi from where you can take ferries and busses to other locations on the coast. The spa is fabulous offering hot and wet facilities and a long list of spa treatments. Breakfast is included and in itself is an experience is luxury travel. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fabulous break from the crowded of the coast.

We stayed here for my wife’s 50th birthday without the children. It was a magical experience. The monastery is stunning and has an incredible infinity pool right on the cliff edge. The concierge was extremely helpful via what’s app and booked a lot for us including a private boat trips to capri and restaurants. The complementary shuttle car was available to Amalfi throughout the day and evening. This was particularly helpful given the cost of taxis along the Amalfi coast.
