Leuke kamers, wel wat warm. Goede bedden, prima ontbijt. Prijs/kwaliteit is prima in orde.

Helaas was de koffiemachine op de kamer kapot en werkte de wifi niet. Er is helaas buiten de uren van inchecken niemand aanwezig.

A restaurant with rooms in a quiet location beside the railway station and the river. Our room (No 16) was not your run-of-the-mill bedroom, it had style. Once we had worked out that the coffee maker could also dispense hot water, we were happy, having brought along some instant coffee sachets and bamboo cups (only paper cups were provided in the room). Ample parking behind the building, and there are plenty of good dog walks - especially across the road and along the river bank. We had supper in the restaurant and breakfast in the smaller breakfast room. What I thought would be a Welsh Rarebit was something else altogether, but tasty - and very filling. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully laid out as a buffet. Although we were the only guest that night, the restaurant was jam-packed and clearly VERY popular. This was an excellent place to stay the night before our ferry crossing at Calais.

Paper cups in the bedroom, and no milk. The sliding door into the shower room didn’t lock and didn’t quite close.

It is a nice small hotel for a short stay

The breakfast is fine but I miss the cheese in slices (like the ham that is in slices).
