"Good"

Absolutely the worst place you could stay. The minute something goes wrong the manager is super RUDE. swimming pool esas green and super dirty and she told us we could swim in it. I travelled with my daughters and everyday she kept saying the pool was ok to swim in even though it was green/brown. She is absolutely the rudest hotel manager I have ever met and I travel every year several times. In curacao there are many more places to stay at, if you want to avoid headaches do not book in this place. You have to line up only from 9-12 to get some paper roll, bags, towels and she will only give you one day supply, if you ran out of toilet paper at 7 am forget it she is so rude she will tell you to wait until 9. She lied constantly to us. Please always do your research and book a place where there isn’t just one person in charge or you will be screwed. The place was an absolute nightmare, the owner should really look into changing the manager. Don’t book here it’s a disgusting pool they have no idea in how to clean a pool and keep their guest out of harm. You can’t get a 9yr old to swim in a pool full of fungus. Curacao is beautiful so becareful where you book your stay or it will ruin your holiday. Book else where.

"Enjoyable "

8.0

The stay was wonderful. We wanted to rest and enjoy the peace and tranquility and that is what we got. The service was great and attentive. The only problem was the pool, the pomp had a problem and water was not very appealing evendo they were fixing the problem. On the whole to be recomended.

"Rustic, breezy and close to the best beaches"

8.0

The resort consists of 9 bungalows and ours had 2 bedrooms which could accommodate 4 people easily. Ours had no tv; a bit unexpected but the wi-fi worked very well so with an iPad it was easy to keep connected. The sunsets on the large porch overlooking the pool were great; no mosquitos but a few bugs did bite so it was best to leave the garbage outside. The AC is only in the bedrooms and the rest of the unit had opened windows so you can't be surprised if some of the critters get in - but we actually like lizards. I had a bit of a hard time with the heat initially and would head to the beach to cool down. It is so hot that there is no real cold water but that was everywhere we stayed before. My son is kind of finicky so we ate most of our meals in and all utensils required were there. Note that there is no food provided so come prepared with salt, pepper, etc. and get plenty of supplies at the supermarket including shampoo, soap and conditioner. It was located in the hills so there was a constant breeze.

"All Exclusive at Curacao"

8.0

The property is in a remote village of the island, and you need a rental car. Keep in mind that the closest grocery shopping is about 20 minutes drive, closest supermarket in the city is about 45 minutes, and the historic center is one hour to go by car. Bungalows are in good condition, everything is working properly, cooking facilities are adequate. Minor problems included water running through the toilet, burned bulb in the bathroom, sticky frying pan and lack of room service. They supply beach towels (orange) and will gladly exchange both beach and home towels when you need. There are no TVs or land phones in bungalows. Wi-Fi is free but the signal is not very strong, i.e. we had 2of 5 marks inside the bedroom and down to zero on a terrace. The pool is nice and clean, and all area around the pool is relaxing and equipped with beach chairs. There is no separate cold and hot water, and the shower is equipped with an electric portable water heater. That means, if you want your water really warm, you have to put a little flow through the shower, otherwise you will get lukewarm water power stream. There are mosquito nets in the bedrooms but not in kitchen etc. Use some repellent or candle. Also, there is a new villa construction site adjacent to the property, and if you happen to have lunch at home, as we did, on the way from one beach to another, be prepared to hear drilling, sawing etc.
