Motel Echo Point

Excellent service and rooms where great. Great value for your money.

The location was brilliant but that’s how far the positives go.

The room was dirty. The photos did not reflect the quality and fitout of the room. The carpet was absolutely filthy and looked like it was not even vacuumed. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.

Sehr gute Lage (kurzer Spaziergang) zur Aussichtsplattform für die Three Sisters. Auch die East Station der Scenic Skyway der Scenic World ist in 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Einige Wanderungen können direkt ab dem Motel gestartet werden.

Das Außengerät der Klimaanlage begann bei ausgeschalteter Klimaanlage (nachdem die Rezeption geschlossen) laut zu brummen, die Wand an der das gerät befestigt war, vibrierte erheblich. Ein Anruf über das Nottelefon erfolgte, die Auskunft war, sie würden jemanden schicken. Nachdem nach 1,5 Stunden nichts passiert war, erfolgte ein zweiter Anruf. Die Auskunft war, dass über wir Schlüsseltresor der Rezeption das Zimmer tauschen sollten. Das haben wir getan. Allerdings entsprach das Zimmer nicht mehr der gebuchten Kategorie Deluxe Room mit Kingbett, es gab nur ein Doppel- und ein Einzelbett. Ein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie stand laut Rezeption nicht zur Verfügung, aber angeblich entspräche das neue Zimmer auch der kategorie Deluxe. Dies alles führt zur Abwertung.

Great location.

The motel was extremely close to Echo Point Lookout (1-2mins by car) and we were able to park our car right in front of our room. The room was also spacious with enough room to open 4 big luggages on the floor.

- Shampoo and conditioner were not provided. - One of the single beds was too hard to sleep on. For this we feedback to the staff and received a mattress topper and it was much better! - The overall cleanliness was so so and I think we received a more dated room with the not so modern interior. - We turned on the heater but still felt that the room was a bit too cold (we stayed there late May)

Very clean, newly renovated. Everything you needed for a short stay.

We stayed for one night in a Garden View Queen Plus One room as a family of three and had a very pleasant experience. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated arriving to a warm, comfortable room, especially with the temperature outside being only 10°C. The room was clean, the vending machines in the car park were a handy bonus, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to Echo Point Lookout and a quick drive to the main street. We would happily stay here again.
