Byron Bay Rainforest Resort

It was a very beautiful property close to the ocean and the town and the house had all the appliances I would have needed!

Decent amenities, appliances, kitchen, toilet, furniture, pool and located in the rainforest so cool even in summer. Great location and plenty of parking. We received a warm welcome from the owner and a coffee on arrival. The room had appliances and amenities that we needed during our stay. Aircon in the room so can control temperature.

Very pricey for the modest amenities and accomodation provided, would not suit budget or normal travellers. Noisy at night due to animals jumping on the roof, bed too stiff to sleep and bright lights during the day so hard to sleep unless you have eye shades.

Good location, host was super friendly and nice, beautiful area and house was really pretty, good for an overnighter, loads of cool frogs that we saw around, having it rainy was nice to go to sleep too, made the stay feel authentic, parking was good

Lots and lots of cockroaches (8) that we caught and threw away, bed was dirty, partner had a bit of struggle getting to sleep because of this so we ended up leaving at 5AM so we could get back on the road, cockroaches were a really big bother

We loved staying here! Specially because the place is so pet friendly, his owner was extremely welcoming, and provided us with lot of options to consider about what to do because the weather was not great!. The vibe of the place is so nice, you really feel like you are in the middle of a rainforest. Beautiful, we'll definetely come.back :)

We met Deano at reception. He was a wealth of knowledge especially about traditional aboriginal foods etc. The cabins were a little dated however very clean annd comfortable and are starting to be refurbished. The pool was absolutely beautiful and the tranquility of being in the Rain forest was amazing. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. We will be back.

We stayed at the Rainforest Resort for three nights in January in a two-bedroom cabin. If you're looking to be surrounded by nature (bush turkeys, kookaburras, lizards and frogs etc) then this is the place to stay. The cabin itself had very comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning in each bedroom and good free Wi-Fi. We really appreciated the welcome with tea, coffee, milk and other condiments in the cabin. It was simple accommodation with all the essentials, including a communal-free washing machine and tumble dryer area. The dining and seating area was located in a screened patio area outside the cabin with no air conditioning, which was quite warm for us at the time of year. Therefore, we chose to eat out in the plethora of good restaurants less than 10 minutes drive away. Deano and the team made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and we felt that nothing was too much trouble for them. We would recommend this place for anyone looking for a simple but comfortable stay surrounded by nature
