The property was beautiful and very comfortable.

Unfortunately during my stay I had an allergic reaction from the spa treatments twice. I had never had any allergies in my life so this was quite scary for me and my partner as I had a full body rash and my face swelled up. We made multiple trips to the pharmacy and initially the staff were concerned and wanted to prevent this from happening again as we had another spa treatment pre-booked in the following day. However, even though we had specifically asked for none of the products to be the same as the previous time, they still applied one of the same products and my face immediately reacted after the treatment. When I walked out of the treatment room, one of the staff members said “oh my gosh your face looks so much better” though my eyes were almost swollen shut. I then asked the therapist who did my treatment if she had used any of the same treatments and she said only one and showed me the container so I could take a photo of the ingredients. I went straight to the pharmacy and got more anti histamines as my lips began to tingle. When we returned we were in the middle of having lunch and the owner came to our room stating that I must be allergic to something I’ve eaten as they didn’t use anything that was the same. I then showed her the photo of the product. During this conversation of 5 mins, the owner seemed more concerned about the fact the money for the treatments had not cleared, than me potentially having this pretty severe allergic reaction and potentially losing my airway. There was no sorry, no care, and there certainly was no compensation. All business and very poor timing.
