Green Oasis Hotel

I had 5 nights at the green oasis, i flew to Hong Kong and then a taxi to the green oasis which cost 200Rmb £20 which i thought was good value as its a fair trip. The Hotel inst the same as the main image and the taxi driver took a while to find it , it is near a very busy cross section where there is a bus park and every one beeps all day and night. There are men that drive around on mopeds and honk at everyone if they want a lift, the taxis seem to honk at them and the busses at the taxis The room could do with a lick of paint, it was cleaned daily and the cleaners where very friendly and would always say hello, the bed was rock hard but after a couple of nights i got used to it. I forgot how busy China is, there are not many white people in this area i saw 7 all week and be prepared to be pointed at by children and adults. I felt quite safe walking around but im a large 46 year old male. Have a wlk down to Hiya Hyper mall and when you come out the doors near Kentucky turn right walk about 50 yards and then turn right again and there is a Market, its quite pungent but worth a walk around, its polite to ask if you can take a picture point at the camera and the peole and they will nod or shake their heads. Have a good trip if you go.

Good: Spacious room. Warm shower. Strong Wi-FI signal. Bad: Location is quite far from the nearest Lingzhi metro station.

Heard from Friends, other hotel are cheaper

I needed an hotel close from airport, as I was leaving at 8 am the following day, very basic room, clean, hair dryer is on outside on each floor, nothing to do around, but there is big place for local people just beside where people play badminton, rollerblade... very good for the price

You get what you pay for, so what can you say :) The rooms could be cleaner and if you are non-smoker ask for a non-smoking room, if not you smell the smoke. The staff is friendly and knows some english. Close by lots of small shops and restaurants. Far away from many other central places in Shenzhen, but near a subway station.

it was perfect for what i needed

The place was hard to find, especially at night when it was dark. The taxi driver did not even know what the street was called. Otherwise nice rooms and comfortable beds. No breakfast which is a minus. Also the staff did not speak very good English.

The only negatives was that staff was not speaking English too good, and smoking in the lobby.

We didn't arrive until 1am, yet the staff saved us a room until then and it was ready for us to crash. The room was large by Chinese standards, and quite clean. The neighborhood is not a high-end tourist spot, but quiet enough and sleepable. Thank you to all the staff of GOH.

It's ok for brief stays. Was difficult communicating with staff but they did try by using google translation. I wanted to go from the hotel to the airport and asked about subways or available ways to get there but the staff were not aware of a nearby subway that could do just that. Actually the information was more or less on the back of the hotel business card. Having said this, I would stay there again for a brief stay.
