Room was pleasant and easy for the price. Easy walk to supermarket and station. Comfy bed

Had a late check in via a machine which was easy enough to use. However the room we received was not cleaned. We couldn't get a hold of any staff members, and had to strip the beds and sleep in our clothes in a dirty room. At 10am tho we had a kind staff member who had been informed about our situation from our emails and messages, apologise and give us a new, clean, room. The whole situation was probably an error in the system but it was still a very stressful situation to have

Despite being located in the outskirts of the city, the hotel's close proximity to the subway at Rensingstraße makes getting into the city center a matter of 15-20 minutes (for a reasonably fast walker). The (shared) facilities were great, the bed was nice and comfy, and the price was excellent.

There was only one single lamp in the ceiling for lighting up the whole room, so you only got either full brightness or total darkness, with nothing in between. Some alternative source of "chill" light would be very welcome.
