Location excellent, very friendly staff, beautiful breakfast.

Very difficult to get taxi, we had wedding in Foto and had to end up driving there ourselves.

It is literally at the water’s edge overlooking Cobh harbour. There is a great balcony attached to the restaurant and bar. You can sit and have a drink or a meal while you watch the boats and ships going by. The rooms are spacious and quiet if a little dated. A room at the back will have a view over the harbour. The elevator is like an industrial one - not very comfortable to use. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Most important to note: there is a car park to the side of the hotel - access to the right of the front door. There is no notice and it is not possible to see the car park when you look in through the opening but it is in to the left!

Such a lovely stay in the best location. So close to the train station but also so close to the main area. Beautiful view of the water and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were so helpful and changed our room as we thought we were in a different room from the photos but they were happy to help and sorted it all out. Highly recommend
