Boutique Hotel La Rinascente

Hotel Rinascente was a lovely find combining the history of the Old Town with the benefit of clean clean and comfortable rooms. Although the double room was on the small side and the bathroom very compact there was plenty of hanging and drawer space and a large window with a pretty mountain view. It's close enough to the town square with a choice of restaurants minutes away but far enough away to provide a peaceful night's sleep. A quality breakfast is included to start the day. I would definitely return to this hotel so well placed you don't even need the car as you can easily travel on the complimentary Ticino Pass.

Kleines Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage. Gerne wieder

I am a local and had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights during a renovation. Although modernized, the old-world charm and architecture have been preserved. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is fresh and plentiful, and the 14-point Gault Millau restaurant offers an interesting menu and local wines. The hotel is located on a quiet side street, just steps away from the Piazza Grande and within walking distance to all major sites in Locarno.

das Zimmer ist schön und geräumig, einziger Minuspunkt, das Bad ist sehr sehr klein, und zusammen mit dem WC, was etwas unangenehm ist.

Unser Aufenthalt in La Rinascente war aussergewöhnlich angenehm. Das Haus hat einen besonderen Charme und ist sehr gepflegt. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, aber nie aufdringlich und das Essen ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Man kann nichts falsch machen, wenn man im Rinascente logiert.

Das Hotel ist ein schönes, altes Gebäude und wurde sehr schön renoviert. Es befindet sich nur paar Schritte vom Piazza Grande entfernt um hat dennoch eine sehr ruhige Lage. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, hatte einen Balkon mit schönen Aussicht. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, Bettwäsche/Bettware aus Bio/Fair trade Baumwolle. Im Zimmer hatten wir Nespresso Kaffeemaschine/Teekocher. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Am Abreisetag hat es geregnet und wir durften den Hotel-Regenschirm mitnehmen. Hat uns gerettet, am 1.Mai war alles zu :-). Frühstück war sehr lecker. Unser Abendessen ist unvergesslich, wer es machen kann, sollte das Restaurant unbedingt ausprobieren. Wenn wir wieder nach Tessin kommen, dann auf jeden Fall hier her.

Really enjoyed our recent short stay at this charming small hotel.Service was excellent from the moment we arrived.There is a very good restaurant on site,the food was excellent- including an amazing selection of breads including one flavoured with squid ink ! This was the best meal we had during our time in Switzerland.The breakfast was also great- eggs cooked to order ,great Bircher Muesli and home made jams.The room we had was large and light, had a minibar with soft drinks and an Nespresso machine.Would definitely return if back in Ticino!

Very nice and clean hotel, confortable and quiet location but very close to the city centre as well as the lake seaside; since we come from Italy, we have appreciated the excellent preservation of some ancient pieces of furniture !! Good breakfast, fresh bread but unfortunately no handmade cakes ....

Das haben das Wochenende im Tessin verbracht und haben das Hotel für 2 Nächte gebucht. Der Empfang war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer sehr sauber. Das Preis Leistungsangebot stimmte auch und das Frühstück frisch und lecker.
