Narrow Gauge Inn

Loved the location since we were visiting Yosemite! However, since it’s off season, we didn’t get to experience the restaurant or pool area! Overall it was perfect for what we needed and we love that our dog could stay with us!

The floor seemed dirty, and cigarettes and trash were left on the balcony from the previous guests. They also used just a regular sheet tucked into the bed frame instead of a fitted sheet on the bed so we constantly had to fix the bottom sheet and tuck it back in. And every night it got messed up when we moved around in bed so we would be laying on the bare mattress at times.

Room was by the river.

Location

Staff was not helpful at all, the restaurant and pool were closed for the season and they did not tell us that prior to booking. There is nothing around or open in off season. The bed was wayy too soft, we had to change rooms. The first room they gave us smelled like urine.

The front end manager was very personable

terrible lighting in the parking lot, the stairway down to the second level and outside of the rooms

We enjoyed a beautiful relaxing stay. The room was clean and the property quiet.
